Dynamic Digs Deep for the Kids Count Appeal.
Every Christmas Radio Aire collects thousands of new toys to help underprivileged children in West Yorkshire enjoy a better festive season. This year, for the first time, Dynamic decided to help the appeal by offering a toy collection service. “I was really excited about getting involved with Radio Aire’s appeal and so I contacted clients to get them involved too,” says Andrew. “Normally, to donate a toy, you take it to a drop-off point, but I thought a unique way for Dynamic to help the appeal would be to collect the toys from those that were just too busy to deliver their gifts personally.”
Using its fleet of vehicles, Dynamic arranged collections of gifts from many of its kindhearted customers and delivered them straight to Radio Aire. After helping to unload all the toys, Andrew was interviewed live on Raido Aire by presenter Griffo and also on Magic 828. “Hopefully with our help and the generosity of our customers, not to mention our staff and drivers who also donated toys, we helped bring smiles to the faces of some disadvantaged kids this Christmas,” he said. “Next year we’re hoping to get more involved in helping the charity and get our customers to dig even deeper. Although, the drivers at Dynamic were quite sad to see the Tonka Toys leave the office…”
